God
We believe in God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, who became fully man by his birth of a virgin mother by the power of the Holy Spirit.
He lived a sinless life and died for the sins of the human race, on the cross as prophesised in the Old Testament.
He rose physically from the dead and is now in heaven, where all authority has been given to him and he prays for those who put their trust in him.
We believe Jesus will physically return to this earth in glory to bless his followers and judge those who have rejected God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit brings conviction of Sin and leads us to put our faith in Jesus.
He brings about the New Birth in our hearts through faith in Jesus Christ.
He inspired men to write the Holy Scriptures (the Bible).
He enables us to understand the Bible and helps us to follow Jesus.
Human Beings
God created man and loves what he has made.
Adam rebelled against God and through his sin, all human beings are born sinful and deserve God's righteous judgement.
Human beings can only be restored to a right relationship with God by personal trust in the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Those who trust and follow Jesus will have eternal life in heaven and those who reject God will be eternally seperated from his love in hell.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the only source of all truth concerning God. It not only contains but is the infallible word of the living God.
It is God's authoritative guide to what we should believe and how we should behave as followers of Jesus Christ.
We believe in God's eternal promises in the Bible to his nation Israel.
The Church
The one true Church consists of all believers who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. Some have died and are with the Lord in heaven.
On earth, the Church is seen in congregations of believers who want to worship and honour Jesus Christ and to make him known to others.
